A unique Christmas gift for my parents, this CD set is based on my memories of their favorite songs—in the context of our family car(s) at the time, after having heard these songs regularly on the car radio growing up.

I compiled the best of 1975-77 on a disc designed around our Pontiac LeMans; 1977-80 was our AMC Gremlin; and 1981-85 was the Chevy Malibu Classic. I also designed an “Extras” disc, utilizing imagery of car accessories such as vintage air fresheners, key chains, etc. Meant to be listened to in the car, the CDs have a surprisingly profound effect—it’s impossible not to imagine you’re riding in one of those past vehicles.
